Mountain Chickens is a blog following the cricketing comeback of Jrod from cricket with balls.

It has been 7 seasons since Jrod took to the field for a whole season, and this year he will be bringing you all the action, drama, hissy fits, full tosses, reverse sweeps, and sledging stories from the season.

He will be taking the field for Barnes CC, the pheasants*, and will be twirling leggies and swiping down the ground.

Barnes will just be one of the sides he suits up with as he as given himself the challenge of playing in 50 games in one summer.

*I think the name pheasants is a little crap, and in china pheasants are known as mountain chickens, and china is like the half way point between England and Australia, so it all makes sense, sort of.
