As the inventor of the poopscoop, I am obviously the person you want to learn the shot from.

Step one: Is there a gap at fine leg, if yes continue, if no continue playing normal shots.

Step two: If you are a heavy footed fellow, you need to take an off stump guard, if you are fleet of foot, take your normal guard and as the bowler hits delivery stride dance across till you are covering your off stump only.

Step three: Watch the ball onto your bat very carefully.

Step four: Shovel the ball to fine leg like you would coal.

Step five: Run.

Step six: Go back to step one.

Safer than the Dilscoop, easier to play than the Marillier, and classier than whatever that shot was that Ryan Campbell used to play.

I have never gone out playing this shot.
